Retreats are sacred moments of introspection, shared connections, and personal growth. The essence of these experiences is often intangible, fleeting, and difficult to express in words alone.
In the stillness between poses and landscapes, lies the unseen magic of retreats. My retreat photography delves beyond the obvious, freezing the candid, the transformative, and the ephemeral.

At the heart of my approach is a profound understanding that retreats are sanctuaries for personal exploration and growth.
Every click of the shutter is a conscious act, ensuring that retreat goers feel safe while being seen. I navigate the fine line between artistic expression and utmost respect, capturing the unspoken moments and subtle nuances that make each retreat unique.
Through my lens, I aim to preserve the authenticity of these experiences, allowing participants to fully engage in their transformative journey without intrusion.
Sté is such a delight to work with! She blended in (in the best way) so that my retreat could run smoothly without interference, whilst still capturing every precious moment. She made me feel completely at ease and I was over joyed with her beautiful photos.
Working with Sté on my Ibiza retreat felt like an exciting next step on our journey of bringing my new retreat business and vision to life. Spending a week with Ste on retreat was so joyful, she balanced connecting with the guests and being part of the retreat team perfectly.
I absolutely loved having Steph with me as the photographer on my ‘Surrender to the Mystery’ retreat. She makes everyone feel comfortable and at ease, and she is super talented with a great eye for both composition and editing. I love her work and can’t recommend her enough.
Ste was amazing from start to finish. Her level of professionalism and preparedness meant that the whole weekend of shooting was seamless. The final photos were EPIC.
The sooner the better, but I tend to be booked 1-2 months in advance, so ideally within 3 months of the retreat date.
Travel fees vary from retreat to retreat as this will depend on the location and length of your retreat. Travel fees may include transport, accommodation and per diem.
Unless your retreat is a half-day or a full-day in a location I'm able to travel within a day, accommodation will need to be provided. This can either be on-site or off-site. As for food, I do ask for this to be provided where possible.
To secure your booking, I require a 30% or 50% deposit fee (this will be dependent on the package booked), and the remainder is due one month before your retreat date. If retreats are booked far in advance, there is the option to increase to a 3-part payment plan.
Yes, absolutely. During our creative call, we'll go through the schedule and flow of the day and make note of the important moments throughout the day and I'll make recommendations on what would work best. This will vary from the types of shots we need to how the space should be placed.
Given there is space and time during the retreat, we can peel off and have a private 1:1 shoot. This is a popular add-on within my clients as more often than not the locations we shoot at are gorgeous and are the perfect setting for a portrait and content session.
As a photographer, I am there to capture the day and so my primary goal is to be paying attention to participants and retreat holders. However, if there are moments in the retreats, it is important I be a part of to integrate into the group, then I'll tune in.
Once your final gallery is live, you'll have the option to purchase more images so there is the opportunity to have more photos from the retreat.
